All you need to know about installing solar on OPEX model
Solutions for Distributed Solar
Our distributed solar energy systems operate on a pay-as-you-go basis, allowing corporations to pay for solar electricity at a lower cost than grid tariffs — in fact, up to 20-40% less.
There is no investment, no capex, and the user bears no risk associated with the plant's performance. This translates into significant savings for businesses without the risk. Our team will manage the system's operation and maintenance for the whole 25-year lifespan. All you have to do is sign a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and sit back and reap the rewards.
Farms that are renewable (Open Access)
We expanded this OPEX strategy to our private solar farms company in 2015. Today, we have a big network of private farms spread throughout key Indian states that allow Open Access power procurement, allowing us to serve large corporations with sustainable energy. Apart from solar farms, Bigwit Energy has established wind farms and wind-solar hybrid farms in various Indian states that allow Open Access electricity acquisition.
Our renewable farms have a variety of power procurement strategies, ranging from zero upfront investment (under the OPEX model) to little investment (under the Group Captive model) and up to 100 percent ownership (as a Captive unit). Furthermore, depending on the type of power purchase plan, you can receive tax and financial benefits in addition to energy savings. For further information, see Third Party Open Access, Group Captive, and Captive Model.
Our innovative solutions help businesses to reach their RE100 goals while saving money because the power is 20-40% cheaper than grid power.
